There are a lot of Chevy Silverados on the road, but not all of them look or sound as cool as this one. Jimmy W. did this custom bed cut out and blow through work at our Baybrook, TX store.
Usually a cut out and blow thru in trucks is done so you can still have a lot of sound but the equipment doesn’t take up cab space. This bed cut-out with blow-thru houses two 13″ JL W7s firing into the cab with custom amp racks, battery trays and blue lighting around plexi glass.

The bed of the truck took two weeks, the interior with custom center console and kick panels was an additional week
Was there any special equipment needed to complete the job or techniques that you used?
Definitely a full wood shop. All cuts were done with routers for precision edges. After build an AUDIO CONTROL RTA was used to fine tune and check SPL
What makes this install so “cool”?
The system looks good but the coolest part was the fidelity and output of the system.2800 watts rms, 12 speakers in the cab and the woofers in the bed…you could feel the music.
